I generally like FOX News (and its website). I do believe it provides a nice balance to the sometimes pro-UN, anti-U.S. slant found on CNN and MSNBC. Special Report w/ Brit Hume is the best news show anywhere. But Fox News is also sensationalistic, and that undermines its credibility.
Today's examples: On the front page of their web site today was this headline:
Jennifer Capri-Hottie: Tennis star whips off her shirt in downtown Manhattan nightclub
Huh? This is news? Front page news? People got to see Jennifer Capriati in a bra. Wow.
And then there's this column by Fox News' entertainment reporter Roger Friedman. Mr. Friedman informs us that The Sopranos' Lorraine Bracco is going to appear naked on broadway in the play The Graduate. Mr. Friedman's final sentence is, "All I can say is, I will be in the front row at every performance."
Truly compelling reporting.
